Getting started with RELAYER

Build your first layered effect from sounds you already own.

RELAYER sampler with four loaded layers and detected variations

Start with a clear role for each layer

Choose one WAV for the main character of your sound. Add a second for weight, a third for texture and a fourth for space or detail. Listen to each source on its own before combining them.

Shape before you randomise

Balance gain, pitch and pan in Base Mix. Use small per-trigger random ranges first, then increase them when you want broader differences. Lock the settings that define the sound.

Keep the useful moments

Record your exploration in History. Select a result you like and drag it into your DAW, or batch-export a set of variations for further editing.
