Start in your session

Use the RELAYER helper script to load up to four selected source items into the sampler on the selected track. The loading helper can insert RELAYER when it is not already there.

Design in the sampler

Balance the layers, choose variation playback and set the amount of randomness. Keep the sources that define the sound while exploring the other layers.

Return with variations

The export helper generates a chosen number of variations and adds them to a new REAPER track. Review the results in context and keep the takes that fit.
